Beach Lodge nestles on the beach some 3 kilometres south of Vilanculos town with attractive wooden self-catering 6/8 bed chalets and one large 28 bed bungalow built on stilts two metres above the ground. The tops of the local "jeka" thatched roofs leave a space for air circulation making a cool and pleasant self catering dwelling.

The Lodge (casas) have a magnificent view across the beach to the islands of the Bazaruto Archipelago. Each lodge has three bedrooms, one en suite and two sharing a bathroom. A further two beds are in the living room and use a separate visitor's bathroom, giving the lodge a capability of sleeping up to eight people comfortably.

Each bed has a mosquito net and each room has a fan. Wide doors open onto an ample verandah to watch the Dhows sailing by on cool evening breeze and the fishermen on the beach preparing their boats for the next day.
The lodge has a swimming pool, bar and restaurant and barbeque area. The local dishes conjured up by the chef are very popular with visitors and Vilanculos residents.

The Bazaruto Archipelago comprises of five islands which are within the Bazaruto Archipelago. From North to South, these islands are: Bazaruto, Santa Carolina Known as Paradise Island, Benguerra, Margaruque and Bangue. There are a number of dive sites around the islands, generally on the seaward side. Other dive sites are located on the seaward side of San Sebastian (south of the islands on the mainland peninsular ).

From San Sebastian, the mainland curves south west to form a large bay which is protected from rough seas by the point and the islands. Dive Bazaruto activity centre looks out to the south of Margaruque Island from the resort.
